To join the Coast Guard Auxiliary you must be at least 17 years of age an American citizen and have no felony convictions.
As a member of the Auxiliary you are always a civilian and you do not have to go to boot camp. If you have any questions you can contact our Division Vice Captain
You will need to fill out an Enrollment Application and you will need to take a test to become a member. The test is on what the auxiliary is and how it operates. To study for the test please reference the New Member Reference Guide.
All members must go through a government background check. You will need to fill out the following form SF86C
